So quite some time ago I took this quiz. I never viewed myself as a Libertarian. In fact I never claimed to be part of any one defined group of people. However after taking this quiz, I guess I would have to call myself a Libertarian given my overwhelmingly high score on it.
BTW, my score on the quiz was a 131 which it defines as: “You are nearly a perfect libertarian, with a tiny number of blind spots. Think about them, then take the test over again. On the other hand, if you scored this high, you probably have a good libertarian objection to my suggested libertarian answer.”
After reflecting on my score for a while I did realize I tend to agree with Libertarians more than any other group. They are all about our rights, and opposed to any infringement by the government. What’s not to agree with on that? Unfortunately, like most Libertarians I tried to avoid calling myself one due to the fact that nationally recognized politicians that refer to themselves as Libertarian are usually a bit kooky. Not so much because their beliefs are that insane, but the fact that they actually believe they can implement their beliefs in today’s world is a little insane.
So, while I still refuse to align myself with just one political party. I will more willingly from now on admit that Libertarians are probably more right than they are wrong. I don’t think that can be said for any other party as a whole.
