Horton Hears a Who.

So me, Lori, Will, my mom, and Lori’s mom went to the movies today.  As you probably guessed, we went to see Horton Hears a Who.   It was very well done.  Jim Carey is the voice of the main character and he was not overly Jim Carey like.  I thought he did a great job.  Most of the voice work was top notch.  Which is pretty usual these days.  The animation was good.  The movie was very entertaining.  There was only a couple jokes that kids under 10 would not connect with.  My 18 month old was well entertained the entire time.  The whole theater was full of kids and there was only one that ever started crying, and it was a newborn, so no movie would have kept them occupied.

  1. Dr. Seuss is classic; after seeing Horton Hears a Who i was reminded how much that guy can pack into a simple storyline… they didn’t add much to the original story either except for the usual Jim Carreyisms.
