I think it’s finally time to upgrade to HD

So according to the WRC, Discovery HD will be bringing WRC coverage back to the states.  It will be on their HD Theater channel.  So not only are they bringing WRC coverage back to the states, but they are bringing it in 1080i with dolby 5.1 glory!  Yes, I know 1080p would be better, but hell 1080 anything is better than the fuzzy crap I have coming from my Dish Network setup right now.

I have been considering upgrading to Dish HD for quite a while but with WRC coming to it… It’s time to pull the trigger.

Horton Hears a Who.

So me, Lori, Will, my mom, and Lori’s mom went to the movies today.  As you probably guessed, we went to see Horton Hears a Who.   It was very well done.  Jim Carey is the voice of the main character and he was not overly Jim Carey like.  I thought he did a great job.  Most of the voice work was top notch.  Which is pretty usual these days.  The animation was good.  The movie was very entertaining.  There was only a couple jokes that kids under 10 would not connect with.  My 18 month old was well entertained the entire time.  The whole theater was full of kids and there was only one that ever started crying, and it was a newborn, so no movie would have kept them occupied.
